Help! I'm having an attack of life!

Life can be hard and challenging at times. There are times where you may think that there is nothing that can stop you and whatever it is that gets in your way you don't even care. Then however there are other times in which the natural reality of life sets in and you realize all too much pressure can squeeze the life right out of you. Its at these times that one might wonder, God where have you gone? For those who believe this can be a common thought over time. For those who don't believe in God they live their whole life without hope, with nothing to place their faith in except their own talents, gifts and abilities. Interestingly enough I have met a few here recently who are not believers yet understand that they are not perfect and their abilities don't always come through. My question then is where does one turn? If there is no God and your abilities come up short, then what? For those of us who believe in God with the life that He gave us in Jesus there is not only hope for the future but He provides the faith for us to get the job done. The Bible declares that faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. To have hope means you have an expectation. Expectation is looking confidently toward something. God provides us with hope in His word. He promises eternal life, he promises good health right now, he promises us success, true riches (which also includes our material prosperity) and every good thing that leads to our well being. His word says that no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. Thats good news. Faith is that act by which when we read these promises from |God's word we act as if it is talking about us because it is. If you are a believer God's word and promise is written for your benefit. He is not mad and is not looking to make you fail. His plans are the only plans that will lead to success 100% of the time. Don't let circumstances get you down get up and realize that you were not put here on earth to fail you were put here to succeed.

  1. Thanks for this, Pastor Seth! A great post to ponder and apply during my own personal attack of life.
